This is a perennial plant which belongs to the Fabaceae plant family, and is popular in south China and is being used as a main healing plant in the Chinese medicine.
Its roots contain polysaccharide, flavonoid, saponin and alkaloid compounds (especially choline and betaine).
In addition, this plant constitutes as a source for folic acid, selenium, zinc, iron and amino acids.
This product contains a concentration of 14% polysaccharides.
